Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Midelt
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Fez. Travel through the beautiful landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Ifrane, one of Morocco’s most charming and picturesque towns.
Known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” Ifrane is famous for its clean streets, Alpine-style architecture, gardens and peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy some free time to walk around and take photographs before continuing towards the Azrou Cedar Forest.
At the cedar forest, you may see the Barbary macaques living freely among the ancient cedar trees. Take time to enjoy the fresh mountain air, admire the scenery and capture some memorable photographs.
Continue through the Middle Atlas countryside to Midelt, a town surrounded by mountains and famous for its apple orchards. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy time to relax.

Day 2: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga – Luxury Desert Camp
After breakfast, depart from Midelt and continue towards the Sahara Desert. Travel through dramatic mountain scenery, traditional Berber villages and the impressive landscapes of southern Morocco.
Along the way, stop to admire the beautiful Ziz Valley, known for its panoramic views, palm groves and ancient villages. Continue towards Erfoud, an area famous for its fossils and marble products.
Visit a local fossil workshop or factory to learn how fossils found in the surrounding desert are transformed into decorative pieces, tables, ornaments and other unique items.
Continue to Merzouga, situated at the edge of the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes. On arrival, meet your camel caravan and begin a magical camel ride across the golden dunes towards your luxury desert camp.
Watch the colours of the desert change as the sun begins to set and take beautiful photographs surrounded by the peaceful Sahara landscape.
On arrival at the camp, you will be welcomed with traditional Moroccan hospitality. Settle into your luxury tent and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Later, gather around the campfire for an unforgettable evening of traditional Berber music, drumming and dancing beneath the stars. Dance the night away and experience the unique atmosphere of the Sahara Desert.

Day 3: Merzouga 4×4 Nomadic Tour – Khamlia – Berber Lunch – Hotel Stay
Wake up in the peaceful Sahara and, if you wish, rise early to watch the spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, begin an exciting 4×4 tour around the Merzouga region.
Travel across the desert landscape and visit local nomadic families to discover their traditional way of life. Learn how they live in the desert, care for their animals and preserve their customs despite the challenging environment.
Continue to Khamlia village, which is renowned for its Gnawa heritage. Enjoy a live performance of traditional Gnawa music and discover the powerful rhythms, singing and cultural traditions of the local community.
Afterwards, enjoy a traditional Berber lunch and taste the famous Berber pizza, a delicious stuffed bread prepared using local ingredients.
Following lunch, transfer to your hotel in Merzouga. Check in and spend the afternoon relaxing by the swimming pool while enjoying views of the surrounding desert landscape.
In the evening, you may choose to join an optional quad-bike adventure across the dunes. Experience the excitement of riding over the sand and stop at a beautiful viewpoint to watch the sunset over the Sahara.
Return to the hotel for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas Mountains – Fez
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your return journey to Fez. Travel through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco, passing palm-filled valleys, traditional villages and the magnificent Middle Atlas Mountains.
There will be comfort and refreshment stops along the way, with opportunities to enjoy the scenery and take photographs.
Arrive in Fez in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation. Your memorable four-day Sahara Desert adventure comes to an end, leaving you with wonderful memories of Morocco’s mountains, culture and magical desert.
