Some services may be provided by independent hotels, desert camps, drivers, guides or activity operators. We carefully select our suppliers, but their own reasonable rules and safety requirements may also apply.
3. Booking and Confirmation
A booking request is not confirmed until:
We have confirmed availability in writing;
The required deposit or full payment has been received; and
We have sent you a written booking confirmation.
The lead traveller must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for providing correct information for every person included in the booking.
Please check your confirmation immediately and notify us of any mistake as soon as possible.
4. Prices
Your quotation will explain what is included and excluded.
Unless specifically stated, prices normally do not include:
International or domestic flights;
Travel insurance;
Visa or passport costs;
Meals and drinks not listed in the itinerary;
Optional activities;
Personal expenses;
Tips for drivers, guides or camp staff
5. Deposits and Payments
The required deposit and final payment date will be shown on your quotation or invoice.
If payment is not received by the stated deadline, we may treat the booking as cancelled by the customer. Any deposit or payment already made will be non refundable
6. Changes Requested by the Customer
Requests to change travel dates, names, accommodation, routes or activities must be made in writing.
We will try to accommodate your request, but changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Any additional supplier costs or administrative charges will be communicated before the change is confirmed.
Cancellations by the Customer
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email and are effective only after we acknowledge receipt.
Cancellation charges depend on the notice given, the type of service booked and the conditions imposed by hotels, camps, transport providers and activity operators.
Non-refundable
Failure to arrive, arriving late or voluntarily leaving a tour or activity early does not qualify for a refund.
8. Changes or Cancellations by Us
We may occasionally need to change an itinerary because of weather, road conditions, safety concerns, government restrictions, local events, supplier problems or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will offer a suitable alternative of a similar standard. The order of visits may change without reducing the overall value of the confirmed experience.
If we cancel a booking and cannot provide a suitable alternative, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled service. We are not responsible for unrelated costs such as flights, visas or other arrangements booked independently.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, floods, sandstorms, road closures, natural disasters, fire, epidemics, pandemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, government action or transport disruption.
10. Desert Camps and Local Conditions
Travelling in the Sahara involves natural and remote conditions. Temperatures, weather, road access, mobile coverage, electricity, water pressure and internet availability may differ from those found in cities.
Camel transfers or other desert activities may be changed, delayed or cancelled when conditions are unsafe. Alternative transport may be provided where reasonably possible.
11. Activities and Safety
Activities such as quad biking, sand buggy driving, camel riding, horse riding, sandboarding and 4×4 desert tours involve natural risks.
Customers must:
Follow all safety instructions given by guides and operators;
Wear helmets or other safety equipment when provided or required;
Act responsibly and remain in control of any vehicle or animal;
Inform us before booking of any medical condition, disability, pregnancy, injury or mobility limitation that may affect participation;
Never participate while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The activity operator may refuse participation if they reasonably believe a person’s health, conduct or ability creates a safety risk. No refund will be due when participation is refused because safety instructions or eligibility requirements were not followed.
12. Passports, Visas and Travel Documents
Customers are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, travel permissions, driving licences and any other documents required for Morocco and for their return journey.
We are not responsible if a traveller is refused entry, boarding or participation because their documents are missing, invalid or incorrect.
13. Travel Insurance
travel insurance is strongly recommended. It should cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, personal accident, cancellation, missed departures, lost belongings and the activities you intend to undertake.
Customers participate without adequate insurance at their own financial risk.
14. Customer Conduct
Customers must behave respectfully towards local communities, staff, other guests, animals and the Moroccan environment.
We may end a person’s tour or activity without a refund if their behaviour is threatening, abusive, dangerous, illegal or seriously disruptive. The customer will be responsible for any damage or loss they cause.
15. Luggage and Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their luggage, money, documents, phones, cameras and other personal belongings.
We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless it directly results from our proven failure to exercise reasonable care.
16. Complaints
If a problem arises during your tour or activity, please inform your driver, guide, camp manager or activity operator immediately so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.
If the matter is not resolved, submit a written complaint within 14 days after the service ends, including your booking reference, details of the problem and any supporting photographs or receipts.
We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.
17 .Responsibility and Liability
We will provide the confirmed services with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss caused by:
The customer’s own action or failure to follow instructions;
An unrelated third party whose actions could not reasonably be predicted or avoided;
Extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control; or
Services arranged independently by the customer.
